Accommodation varies from backpacker type to 5-star facilities.
All listed accommodation have been validated before being advertised, so you can be assured of clean, comfortable and safe accommodation.
When booking the accommodation of your choice, you have two payment options:
1. Pay the full amount plus a 10% breakage fee on booking
2. Pay a 50% non-refundable deposit with the balance paid 30 days prior to arriving in South Africa. Remember to include a 10% breakage fee.
Proof of payment will be issued for each payment made.

FIFA World Cup 2010™ Dates and Teams
The opening ceremony is set for towards the end of May 2010, although not announced yet. Match dates has been set from 11 June to 11 July 2010.
Teams participating include the following:
- 13 European teams
- 5 Asian and Oceania teams
- 8 American and Caribbean teams
- 6 African teams, including South Africa
Stadiums
The FIFA World Cup 2010TM games will be played at 10 stadiums throughout South Africa. 5 of these stadiums are existing stadiums currently being revamped for the event, and 5 are newly built. Detail about each stadium can be found under the heading Stadiums on the left hand side.
Transport
You can hire a car, 4x4 or motorbike, whatever your preference. Remember, in South Africa we travel on the left hand side of the road. And please, take special note of speed limits!
Public transport consists of taxi’s, minibus taxi’s, a bus or a plane. Gauteng is in the process of building a bullet train which will travel between Pretoria and Johannesburg as well as to the O R Tambo International Airport. It is hoped that this train will be ready for the FIFA World Cup 2010™.
Many of the guest houses, lodges and private accommodation advertised will also offer transport during your stay. You can enquire at the accommodation about tariffs, etc.
